Well, I've been home for nearly 48 hours, and I think my liver is regenerating back to normal levels
Great time catching up with old friends, new friends, friends that were friends before we even met for real, people who thought I was an asshole and now are my friends, and people who were on the fence and now think I'm an asshole
Jody wants to thank everyone for being so nice. She had an amazing time
Highlights:
Downtime with the Padmores (who I really don't get to see often enough, I'll bring Steven next time, I promise)
Tommy dancing the night away
The waitress at The Sixth Ward who told me to come back soon so I could fist her (my life is just so strange sometimes)
Back to work. Catch you guys real soon

Nice that's how you start a party

@RP:
Sugar- Don't be too shocked. The conversation actually started with the concept of double fisting…
You'd think a evening that started that way couldn't go any lower, but I'm fairly certain we managed it.
-
I am 100% certain that it did

i think the bar was the Sixth Ward.
wish i had more time to chat it up with you all

Just landed, stood outside Heathrow awaiting the Hoppa bus. I can tell it's England due the cold and the fog
-
Glad to hear the Trons made it back safe and sound, even if the weather greeting you is typically English.
-
Yeh, we made it as did all our gear, and no customs incidents
The return flight was eventful, Tommy threw a large glass of water all over himself about half way through, so he was cold and wet for a while. I wanted to get him off the plane quickly as soon as we landed, but a woman on the opposite side of the aisle decided to cause a scene about us "being rude" for daring to try and get off before her. I explained that I had a cold and wet 6 year old, to which she responded "so one more person getting off before you won't make a difference". At this point I ceased being polite, turned my back on her quickly, which resulted in her "accidentally" being hit by my backpack in the head.
She had really badly swollen lips, from cheap botched plastic surgery, and she was American…so you're all back to being assholes

I'm also glad that the Tronz are safe and sound at Tron Towerz.
PS Gav look up the song Dancing Fool by Frank Zappa, that's Tommy. And when he gets a bit older, show him Dance Motherfucker Dance by the Violent Femmes (it was kind of the mood Tommy was in, on Sat night). Haha
-
Tommy is nicknamed "one man party", amongst other things….
We'll check those songs out when we hit home, currently driving up England's most boring road (the M1).
-
Glad you guys are back home safe
-
Thanks Jeff, I was pleased to hear that you made it home safe on Saturday, after soaking your liver in bourbon, and heading vaguely north in a yellow cab
