Our Cars (dream or actual)

HA-HA.. yeah, I had planned to do ALOT to the caddy, but it was in such perfect condition, when I bought it, I left it unmolested… I had already bought the rims, so I mounted them and kept them on about a year...less than 100 miles the entire time...

Cleaned up my old pickup today and thought I throw up a few pics of my Oklahoma Cadillac.
-
Jesus Joe, it's like your my brother from another. I'll get a couple shots of mine up soon.

I'm not quite sure what that thing on the left in that bottom picture is…but I'm pretty sure I want one!

Since this thread allows for dreams cars, here's one of mine: the 1978 Ford Cobra.
During the 60s and 70s, Australia made some world class muscles cars. Fans of the first Mad Max film would already know this!
Only 400 Cobras were made. One day I will own one of these…....one day......

Nate, you'll never look back.
JSJ, us down-south boys call that a swamp buggy. That one is an International Scout with the body pulled off and an 8 foot platform. It had a dog box (redneck for kennel) and gun racks for hog hunting. Loads of fun, but my Dad was hotter than a tater-totter when we got it stuck that hard, haha.

Down South??? I thought you lived in Northern California?!?!
-
Nate, I hear ya. I got lucky and made money on mine because it was still so new when I sold it. Think about it this way, though: getting 40 mpg on a bike will help pay off whatever loss you take pretty quickly.
JSJ, I'm South Florida born and bred. The Coast Guard moved me out to CA a little over 5 years ago. I'm out in 3 days and on my way to Colorado next.

Central Florida born here. You from Little Cuba or a redneck town?

I still regret selling my bike. Nate, be careful, once you get one, nothing will ever replace the way it feels. It's like my heart skips a beat just thinking about it. The smell of riding through the country at dusk.
In Oklahoma, when you're 14 you can buy a motorcycle. When dad told me I could get one if I could raise the money. I worked 2 jobs, illegally, and saved up $5K. I put 30K miles on that little Suzuki GN125 in about a year and a half!!! There's a bunch of work/life changes coming in the near future, and as soon as the dust settles, it'll be one of the first things I do.
