Speaking of Tarantino flicks…
I used to mop the floor of the sandwhich joint I worked for dancing to this song, it being the only listenable tune on a repeating playlist otherwise composed of nothing but drivel and tripe.

Lol, my coworkers didn't get the Mr. Blond reference and just thought I was kinda off, but damn was sweet to have it queue just in time for clean up. Clowns and jokers yo. Stuck in my head now, lol.

Lol, such an exceptional movie. "If you shoot me in a dream, you'd better wake up and apologize"
Right now, I'm jammin' to some Blessed Black Wings - High on Fire, who'll be visiting our cuidad. In two weeks!

This is the most pure rock performance I have ever seen in person. (sound sucks on youtube, but…)
This is also… quite compelling. As rock music.
I don't believe in "all-time" favorites! Too mutable! Especially with history in mind. These are contemporary though…

Gregory Isaacs doing Night Nurse in Jamaica in 1982
Burning Spear live in Paris in 1988, so majestic (notice the female horn section), a mystical experience
Enjoy!

originally purchasing this cd at a tender age of 7 years old for the track "If I Ruled The World" it would take me a few years and some listen throughs to truly appreciate how amazing Nas was and still is. It Was Written, one of my favorite albums of all time.
