The Strike Gold

It does, thanks. Mainly worried about shrinkage, but recently I've really been trying to actually buy the right size instead of the "comfiest." Are you a medium in IH stuff? If so it looks like I'd go medium…
I'm small to medium in IH shirts (check out my role call if you need more detailed info). Large would probably be the way to go. You'll love the construction on these. Top-shelf stuff.

Strike Gold 1105
Worn for 2 years
Washed 13 times

Those look exactly like a pair of jeans should do after two years. Brilliant.

Wow,
I have just read through this whole thread,
I'm new to raw denim and was considering a pair of 3sixteens but if I can find an offer on a pair of these jeans I might just
jump in the deep end,
They look incredible from this thread! -

I have now bought a pair of 2109s,
This is my first pair of raw denim jeans, I was amazed at how stiff they were, but I am loving it!
Might post some fit pics later -
How do you both like the rise of the 2105/2109? Too short compare to IHs?
-
Ok here are some fit pics, so the jeans are 2109s tagged size 32, and they have been hemmed.
I have soaked them them twice 2 x 1hour back to back, only concern is that the waist runs a little large :-\ , but that is something I knew about and my belt seems to solve that problem, so overall I'm really happy with the fit!Front:

And If anyone is interested I can post pre soak and post soak measurements.
Oh and having no experience in these sort of things I put my wallet in the back pocket when wearing the jeans dry, and this is how that turned out ::) :

Hi Tom,
I Think they look like a really good fit on you, even better when worn for a few weeks. Not sure back to back soaking without drying has the desired shrinkage effect?
Cheers.
OK, It was my first time doing it, I saw it recommended on the indigo shrimp blog, I thought the idea was to just clean the water and keep the heat up, but would you suggest drying them and then soaking again?
-
Tom, a tad bulky around the wang region maybe? Otherwise a nice fit indeed
I think that could be because the jeans are still quite stiff, but I see what you mean :-
I guess I will see…
