White's Boots
-
With what?
-
I realised those are another pair and not the ones posted earlier. My bad
-
Trying not to crowbar this in but my website specialising in White's only for now is pretty much live apart from a few changes and tweaks but I will have the build a boot options there. I'm based in the UK so if you wanted to order through someone in Europe please get in touch and I can price a boot for you if of interest. Will put the website address up next week anyway.
Cheers.
Jamie.
This sounds so good!!!
Thanks JCM, it's been a while in the launching but it's getting there!
Post it up soon.

How do you specify that you want the rubber outersole to continue at the arch from the front to the back like it shows here. I thought it was called the Half Slip, but apparently not? A lot of White's boots I see rubber on just the heel and the front, but not always the arch.
Also, has there been a post of the Bounty Hunter with a medallion captoe on an SD last? Couldn't find a pic searching through the thread.

Page 98, second pic down is a SJ/ BH medallion cap toe on the SD last.

the sole bit is easy. just don't go for the composition half-sole. all other options go from front to back.

supersalami I believe my rising sun is made from french calf leather. I love it because its different from the ones I have in my Vibergs and softer from the beginning.
how do they fare against a little scuffing? i've been told they're really thin and delicate.. I'm afraid they won't hold up when I use them and get fecked real fast and bad

Best is you try one on. VMC Roger's linesman julian boot looks actually pretty nice scuffed and used. I am not babying my shoes but also do not unnecessarly mess up a shoe in this price category. I think the leather holds up pretty well in my everyday life. And I like the elegant touch of the leather. Suggest to contact demonito he has a lot of knowledge.

since it appears that the hopes of getting 4 people to agree on the same viberg has fell off into the abyss, and I am in desperate need of another pair of boots to give my indys a break once in a while…. I believe I may be investing in a pair of white's. Thinking somehting similar to what is 2 posts up ^

Bounty Hunter

Just checking, for the average 6" bounty hunters with plain toes how long would the laces be? Thinking of getting myself a few pairs of laces

@CLJ:
Has anyone done a Whites build with steel toes? I'm hesitant to include this feature but it would open them to all work environments for me. Not a fan of the way the steel toe in my current work shoes creases them.
I do have a pair in steel toes! What would you like to know?
