Hello all!
Great looking jeans in this thread! I'm interested in picking up a pair of 634's 25oz but a bit worried they would be too hot in the summer. Am I better to go with the 634s or do people wear 25oz in the heat of summer?Just for background reasons my heaviest pair of jeans are 13oz and don't own a pair of IH. Really want to pick up a pair of these but have no option to see them in person so have to order online. Just want to make sure I buy a pair that will be able to be worn year round.

IMO 25oz is IH best denim

25 oz is very fine indeed, jumping from a 13 to that maybe enough to make you question your sanity for a few days but speaking from experience (owner if the 666-xhs) they become very comfortable and almost have a velvet feel to them. I was in a similar situation as i have no places Or people anywhere near me where i could see any if this stuff in person so i jumped on the internet and i read, and read some more, and then some more etc… you get the idea. just be informed before you make your mind up. Personally they do not bother me in warm weather but I'm pretty skinny and very cold natured... So I guess take my comment for what it's worth. I'm sure you'll get some other opinions as well but in the end its what you like best that matters.

^^^ great fades.. Thosee cuffs being different sizes would drive me insane with OCD
Thanks you, the cuffs use to bother me but I'm slowly starting to accept it. i think my left inseam is 1/2 inch longer than my right
On the topic of jumping from 13oz to 25oz. speaking from experience, I went from a Levis 501 STF(12.5oz) straight to my first pair of selvedge denim (634 25oz). Depending on where you live, the 25oz shouldn't be much a problem in terms of breath ability. I do not own any other IH products so I can't compare them to any of the other weights. But honestly, I found my 25oz's to breathe better than my Levis STF.
Hope any of this helps @Langley

I have the same issue… My right leg seems to be a tad longer than my left'un All my pants sit a bit higher on the right foot... But since I'm mostly running around like a blue arsed fly, I don't think it's noticeable... Plus I'm lazy and indifferent to what others think ::)

Ahhhh someone who knows! Haha, it makes my highwater cuff look uneven. I remember there was a point where I would try adjusting my cuffs every other minute everyday for a couple of months. I think it was only recently that I started accepting my jeans for what they are~
