Did I see Tommy's name registered for the contest?
^ This is another reason why H is simply "The man".
So what size is Tommy in now Gav? These are a new pair, not the one that had to be extended right?
-
Yup, these are all new. I think Tommy is like a 22" waist or something these days, not quite ready for "big boys" jeans yet
-
BOOM!
Complete with H's smokes.
-
That's why he's so short :o

The above photo is part of an elaborate practical joke played on my mother in law…... which she did not find funny.
-
that just means it was probably a good joke…

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Haraki for what he and the Japanese crew have pulled off.
As you may know, we lost a load (circa 50%) of 25oz denim in the last run. We get a percentage wastage in all the denims we make, but normally the percent we lose is a constant (per type). With the 25oz, seeing that it is on the edge of what is sensibly possible, the wastage is completely unpredictable. 50% broke all our records!
When I met H in Singapore I asked him how the MBB's were going. He said they weren't. I explained how important it was that they were done on time.
Once he understood the real criticality of meeting the deadline, he did just about everything humanly possible to make sure he did not let you guys down. That included a 20 hour round trip to Kojima to explain the criticality face-to-face with the team down there. This just after coming back from SE Asia.
Never once did he bitch, moan or complain. He just motivated the team and got on with it.
Absolutely amazing.

A big thank you to haraki, giles, mega, beatle and everyone else who has any part of this
as has been voiced an extra special thanks to giles and haraki and the IH crew for how well they treat all of us customers. After dealing with primarily IHUK FOR EVERYTHING to do with clothing purchases since discovering them they take customer service to unexplored levels and leave everyone else in the dust. I hope to never take this for granted and actually experienced some customer service on the far other side of the spectrum this weekend (from a company to remain unnamed) and it reminded me how nice it is to deal with a company who values it's clientele so much.
One last time…
Thank you for everything.

This was a pattern that Haraki and Tom created especially and specifically for Tommy.
This is why I love Iron Heart…
