Maybe I received the "soft" pair. They are definitely substantial but no tools have been needed. I think they are pretty damn comfortable after a few days of creeking around. I think I psyched myself out reading all forums since preorder. Bring on 2 more years.

Str808Raw- snowy gave you some pretty sound advice over in the SExIH13 thread, the best thing to do is find your favorite current pair of denim you own and do some measuring and use that as a foundation. And then, as was also said… Each iH product has sizing measurement tables so do some comparisons. It's a little bit of effort that will reward you.
thank yall for the advice

Lucky Guys…. Mine have been sitting in the same spot in the UK for 5 days now.... anyone else have this happen?
Damn man, the fit on you is fantastic, love the huge cuff!! And great combo
On an side note, any of the Canadian brothers have their gear yet??Mine were out for delivery today, but since I wasn't home, I'll have to pick them up from the post office. If the PO isn't busy, I'm sure they'll give them to me tonight, otherwise I'll have to pick up tomorrow.
Just in time, too. I've got two holes in the crotch of my 666-XHS and a third is starting to break through.

Zentner, same boat man, same spot since the 4th, haven't moved.
Although, that being said, I have a feeling that they are sitting in customs waiting to be "let" into the country, and because they haven't been released it still shows them in the UK. I'm sure they are all standing around in customs wondering how the hell a pair of pants can weigh that much!! -
Loosening up around here. Starting to get within the realms of comfy…

We've waited 4 months already…. but the last week is ALWAYS the hardest!
Cheers man!

I'm sure they are all standing around in customs wondering how the hell a pair of pants can weigh that much!!With no hint of irony, it is because you are Canadians…....The overwhelming feedback from Canadian customers is for us to use Parcel Force (EMS) not UPS. Canada has one of the, if not the toughest customs regimes we know of. Honestly, shipping a pair of jeans into Canada is more difficult than it would have been to get a pair of Levi's into Russia 30 years ago. We thus, do not ship to Canada with UPS because virtually every parcel gets stopped and taxes added. So we use Parcel Force, who in turn use use Canada Post and their tracking systems are complete shite, but less parcels get taxes added......
Bottom line. We can ship to Canada quicker but it will cost you more, so we don't. Which is a shame because it costs us a lot more and is a complete pain for us to process.

There truly is no equal!! Giles and Paula are the best!
I just got word that mine have actually left the UK last night at some point, so hopefully tomorrow, fingers crossed!
Giles speaketh the truth, UPS while always fast and reliable will take your first born at every border crossing, every time! and Canada Post is basically useless…always.
Thanks for enduring the hassle of shipping to canada! our cold frozen legs appreciate the heavy pants!! even if we have to wait a couple extra days!! -
Just want to add. G & P are doing their best to accomodate Canadian customers. UPS charges brokerage fees. Of all the transactions I have placed over the years, I may have been dinged a few times. But if I were to use UPS, I was dinged every time. Parcel Force is quite good. My order was shipped on April 4th and I received it yesterday (April 9th), all the while the tracking system was showing awaiting customs clearance. Perhaps they are indeed wondering how heavy can a pair of jeans be.

It really is luck of the draw with Parcel Force/Canada Post, but I'd rather have my stuff take longer than get hit with a stupid brokerage fee.
Customs did open my package, but only one of the four bags the jeans were packed in (thanks IHHQ!!!). No charges, no problem.
Oh, and the waist of my MBBs have stretched out to an appropriate size, so today is the first full day in them. Walking in the rain.
