^ well this is exactly how they suppose to fit and meant to be worn! imo your fit is spot on mate…you just have to get used to it!
and no, they don't change much from knee down. maybe the stacks will fall/settle a bit more with wear, but that's about it...I'd wear'em uncuffed, like in the first pic! -
Keep those Bluegrass, they look good. Even better with no cuff due!
-
Bluegrass, great fit. One of my fav cuts…never to old. I'm over 50 and sized down to a 30 no cuffs and converse for me. Keep Em

Haha, thx Hadtoo, I'm going "all in". I've still just tried them on a couple of times, gonna wear them out this weekend. Fit's really great at top - I'll get used to trimmer fit from knee down. And everything look good with Chucks - we were wearing Chuck's in high school!
-
Don't think I can still rock the high tops..

Hmm, I think a hemjob would really make sense on them. It might even train your thigh muscles to lift that many excess denim

Hey just wanted to post fit pics. Received these just about 2 weeks ago. I am quite slim and I think these fit me perfect!
-
Perfect, nice fit. What size? I did a 30…your fit looks like mine
-
These are size 28

On mine these have a higher rise than some of my other jeans, so having some extra room at the waist is not a bad thing (unfort. at my tag size (38) my "waist" gets bigger the further you go up from my hips ). I really like the 555-01s, so tried the same tag size in 555-03s - but the knee/calf/leg opening was just enough slimmer that it was uncomfortable - also the black denim was stiffer and I feared I would not get any stretch - so I returned them. They were a little bit bigger in the waist and slightly higher rise than the 555-01s, but the waist was not bothersome. Also as a side note, dog hair sticks to the 555-03s like glue! My dogs anyway. I had to use a lint brush after having them on for a few minutes. I'm sure hair sticks to indigo too, but I don't notice it.
