Hi guys
Just wondering if bounty hunter/smoke jumper uses a thicker piece of midsole on boots with a single midsole. I was looking at east west apparel's website and it looks like this boot which according to the owner of the shop is confirmed to be a single midsole looks like has almost 2 or 1.5 pieces of leather. Anybody else notice this on their SJ especially if compared to SD?

I can't speak for East Wests stock, but the boot in that picture has a double midsole.

They are seriously the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned, it's like wearing slippers all day

Hi Palma…..and Mega,
They are a single midsole actually. It does look like a double but a White's single is made up of 2 thinner leather sole's. I you you look at the British Tab Semi Dress and see the thickness there, that's a double leather sole with no outer sole and it's thicker than the SJ leather. Just for info.
Cheers.
Jamie.

So it is, apologies for not spotting that. The make up of using two single "thinner" leathers is a relatively recent thing from Whites I think, my older boots definitely had only a single piece leather midsole.
For instance on my current SD's in comparison to my current Bounty Hunters.

^I would be pissed if my boots had stitching like that, but maybe it's just the pic…
