Rivet and Hide
-
I had time today to pop in to Apartment58 and see Danny at Rivet & Hide. It was a pleasure! A brilliant selection and a cool location. Honestly, Londoners and UK folk please check it out - really exciting stuff. It really was a breath of fresh air to meet and chat with someone like minded.
I took my TFH for hemming, had a coffee, and chilled for an hour or so. I sure now wish I had stuck around longer as it started (and hasn't stopped) raining as soon as I left.
Danny - as I said, anything I can do, shout! Otherwise I'll no doubt see you in a couple of weeks

Great to catch up today, Danny - always a pleasure to talk denim with someone as knowledgable and passionate as yourself. The pop-up is great and, as JSJ has already pointed out, that Dawson curtain is indeed "badass".
All IH dwellers in and around London owe it to themselves to pay Danny a visit - you won't be disappointed

Always loved the thought of a The Flat Head flannel but needed extra in both body and sleeve lengths?
Here is the The Flat Head HN-64W Special Length Charcoal Flannel with an extra 2" in body length and 3" in the sleeve.
The chest and shoulder measurements tally with their other heavy flannels in the work wear style shirt. Exclusive to Rivet & Hide. These are great in Winter but can be worn open as a Summer jacket especially in northern climates. -
At the first The Flat Head show I went to last November I was blown away by the details of this shirt.
The CW-76W is a 5 oz. selvedge chambray that has been embroidered with rope-dyed indigo thread that will fade like denim over time.
Rare techniques that are typical of The Flat Head. Sizes 38-46 available in both chambray shirts.

The Flat Head 3002 is similar to the 3001 in the top block but is a slimmer fit overall tapering below the knee.
Expecting more sizes after the next production. From the Pioneer series.http://rivetandhide.com/brands/the-flat-head/the-flat-head-3002-jean.html

Hi Danny,
Any plans to get the PBJ nc-005's in black?
Not in the near future. The next addition should be the X12.
I am looking at the NCs in 005 or 11 cut at some point but it is not imminent. -

Right, have to visit you guys this weekend before you close shop at A58. Congratulations on the opening of your new premises - I suspect the clients of the Bikram Yoga will be easy on the eye and you're just round the corner from the White Horse pub. Last time I went, I think Orlando Bloom was doing the rounds.

I was going to include a photo of The White Horse Great pub especially in the summer overlooking the Green.
I discovered this road 4 years ago during my Bikram Yoga period. I was waiting for something to come up here and grabbed it. See you Saturday. -
Brilliant Danny - congrats….
Thanks, Giles. You're going to love the denim rail that has been made for me.
