One of my old roommates and I had many long (slightly drunken) debates about what is and is not a "sport". One factor we agreed on was that anything not human or gravity powered wasn't a sport. No horse racing, no auto racing, no sailing. We disagreed on bicycles and skis…

Anyway, I can't get interested in the Derby. It just holds no appeal to me. I love track and field, but for my money, the 400 meters is a better race than the 100.

I hate baseball, always have.
the Astros are terrible.
because of #2, free tickets are really easy to get.
also because of #2, we are in the sixth inning of a 9-0 beatdown.
the weather is beautiful and the seats are excellent.

Have developed a callous on my left index finger from doing/undoing IH pants. Breaking in 2x23oz + 1x21oz at the same time = game over for my finger.

Oh, and I passed my exam, passing exam comes with $1000 bonus from my employer, woo hoo!
