nice. I really like that its not all tactical'd out, like TAD Gear bags are. Nice and understated

Received a couple goodies today. A 5L dry pack and a cube which I'll attach to my Kriega R20 pack. Simple but really tough. Perfect for commuting on the MC.
-
I have an r25, us 20 and a us10lt tank bag. Really good stuff. I would never buy another brand of bag for my bike.
-
I use RKA stuff. Made in Sonoma County

RKA looks great. I was sold on the Kriega backpack because of how easy it was to put on with an armored jacket. Used it for 3 years with no complaints. Attaching luggage to my bike has never really worked out. Only thing I'd change on the Duc.

Here's my configuration. I'm ready to tackle my commute and terrorize drive through coffee stands. The webbed pocket in front fits my insulated Klean Kanteen perfectly.

think my gr1 might be getting charged duty can they charge duty if it is a gift and payed from from an overseas bank account?
-
Well that will be one more positive for going home cause no duty or tax paid on items less than au$1000.
-
When are you going back to Oz Todd?
-
September. Hoping to stop working start of July and have a bit of fun in the sun. Then work my arse off and if needed hit the mines up for $$ and party in the US with you!
-
Sounds good to me dude.

G1 is close. have to pay £19.30, so not the best but better than the £80 it could of been!

Want to give a big THANK YOU to context clothing only had to par £5.80 vat and a big thumbs down to Parceforce £13.50 handling charge. I was reading on other forums one type courier companies are better and you don’t pay handling fees eg. fed ex & ups. Mine went usps-parcelforce.
Cheers William @ Context -
Just under £20 isn't bad at all, really, but ParcelForce suck for their flat rate charge.
I can't remember if I paid Customs and VAT on the GR1 and the Echo I bought direct from Goruck. I want to say I didn't, but I honestly can't remember. They had some sort of deal on the Echo though, or it was cheaper, because I paid about $70 less than usual for it, which was a steal.
Generally though, I presume any US order from any company will end up roughly £ for $, so I don't end up disappointed, just relieved if it's less…

Just got an SKB carry on hard case as a dual purpose camera/luggage bag.
Last time I flew back from Toronto with Porter Air I found my pullout suitcase handle completely bent and ruined. Thankfully, Porter reimbursed me $150 for new luggage.
I went back and forth about which brand, Pelican/Storm/SKB/HPRC but decided on the SKB 3i-2011-7M-D in Olive Drab.
Weighs about 10lb without the camera dividers. Which is about 3-4lb heavier than my previous carry on but I don't mind considering the protection.
Made in USA, all the parts are user serviceable, largest volume out of the bunch, and a lifetime unconditional warranty.
Check out eBay user "casesandmoredave" for some amazing deals.
This was $150 shipped, including the camera dividers and a TSA lock!
