nice JCMx800 & supersalami. thanks for the images.
i really have to see if white's sell those laces you have in your oxfords JCMx800. they really make the shoe look a lot nicer.
oh & heading back a bit further to urb, if that is normal wear on city streets i have to make sure i stay away from those streets. i have one or two items made out of chromexcel & they haven't aged that rapidly or severely.
very curious stuff . . .

Yes, I thought I would get some gold/brown laces (never thought about the laces), but I was REALLY happy that I got those green/brown ones

my CXL'd Whites are close to 1 year old and they dont look anything like his. They are scuffed up a bit though. Just not to the point where the dye is worn off and the brown is showing. Seems a bit extreme if you ask me, but nobody is so Ill shut up haha

In my (limited and humble) experience with cxl, I notice it scuffs easily, but it buffs and polishes just as easily. A little conditioner takes care of most scuffs for me.

Has anyone else experienced this? Not a big deal, but I don't want it to get like an unraveling sweater.
It's not a problem. That's where they backstitched to keep the thread from unraveling, then pulled it out of the machine and clipped the thread, but didn't trim it down. If it bothers you, cut it down until it's a couple of mm long, then light the thread with a match. Let it burn for a second, then stub it out with your finger. Polyester thread melts and mashing the hot end causes it to flatten like a nailhead so that it won't come loose.

I don't know what to tell y'all. I def don't polish, buff or baby them but I'm not that hard on them either. I apply boot oil once a month.
I'm excited for when they get like this.
