White's Boots
-
Yeah the swing last is a bulbous looking thing. That one is much prettier.
-
I always think that SD's made with a swing last look great after they have been broken in, and when they're not being worn. Unfortunately when you see someone wearing them with jeans they do tend to look like clown shoes.
-
Yep. Even without the celastic toe, they look like balloon toed clown shoes. Slap a different color toe cap on them and they'd be perfect for the circus.

Free red nose and Mc Hammer trousers with every pair. Speaking of the swing last is there by any chance some generous who might be able to either send me or post up a couple of pics of the swing and hopefully 461 last from the top and side view (not too demanding) that I might be able to half inch for illustration purposes?
Very very much appreciated. Would steal from google but apparently people don't like that!

For the curious, here is a pair on Ultrasound with the 461 last (I like the olive bullhide but not fan of the turn-up toe):

Wow, we made a nuts up of that one
Looks a lot like my BH though in all fairness
-
Yeah, clown shoes.
-
-
Maybe those; still not loving mine.

Sell'm to an Elephant who appreciates the well made?
Nah, I like the gray bull hide, just not my choice of last. I'll keep them as my beater work boots and wear them till either they or I drop dead (probably me first). If I want to wear pretty boots, well, I've got a couple of other pairs that fit that bill.

Something I haven't seen done with an SD before….
-
Me neither, just never seen it done before.
