IH-666-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo
-
Not sure whether i should post my pictures here or in the standing denim thread, but here I go. After about two moths I decided to wash my 666. A contributing factor was that I have started to bicycle to work (sweaty, smelly groin). I did not expect that they would stand up on their own after a wash.

So far I am very happy with my 666 XHS. They now feel very comfortable and have broken in nicely. No great fading to speak of as of yet, but I really did not expect that after only two months. In hindsight i should have ordered 1 size smaller, but that is because I have lost some weight lately due to cycling and more skateboarding and exercise.

I just try to fall in love with it then
You will fall in love with'em…approaching 6 months with my pair, they get at least 6 days a week wear...will be my first pic for sure.

Hello Iron Die Hearts,
I would like to recommend a solution that i have found, for all those suffering with 'Bell Bottom'Itis' with their denim. There have been some posts about this 'problem' (to some a problem, to others not), yet i cannot remember specifically who has posted, but it has most assuredly been in the 666-XHS thread.
First off I just want to say that I have only tried this on raw denim… TFH-F310 to be specific ... and it worked a treat.
After soaking, when the jeans are hanging to dry (while still wet). Push the thighs and specifically the 'below the knee' area together, from inseam to out seam. They should stay quite narrow if still wet and rigid enough (Very soft pliable denim may not work, such as the 21oz) And do this repeatedly while still wet, every half an hour or so. I have found this greatly reduces the bell bottom effect, which i had copious amounts of on my FH. And makes the stacks sit nice and cleanly, with marginal sideways bell bottoming. As I said before, I have only tried this on one pair of raw denim, and i am open to every and any sort of criticism!
I know that the 25oz has a mind of its own and may resist, but it is always worth a try! Thanks!

Anyone want to sell their size 36 from the original run? Sizing was better for me with that run.
