Also, I've treated mine with Pecard's which darkened them up a bit. They were lighter when I got them. I'm not sure which batch mine are from. I called and they were out of my size and then they called me back because they had a shipment that never went out or something. I've seen some that look almost black.

Any thoughts on using black polish on the lighter ones guys? I like the dark color and think the nuance of a paler boot peeking out from a dark polish might look cool.

my first pair is considerably lighter as well. I tried the black polish like Christophe's but couldn't get it to hold well on the leather. I may saddle soap it off when i get them back and try the pecards.

officially I believe 2 atm and the third to come officially but there have probably been some adjustments between in production. I do not have the box too only the old school bag.

That dude has a serious collection of Engineers and it's high praise that the RCs put them in the back seat. Waiting on these will be tense, especially since the sizing is such an unknown for me.
