I've read that LHT has a bit softer feel to it, but the original post implied this stuff was pretty tough-  is this going to end up as a stiffer denim, or softer?  How does it compare to the 18 oz?  Thank you!

It is much stiffer than the 21 or the 18.  No idea how it will end up (and therein lies the beauty)….

Especially with a jacket where wear is less of an issue, but I can see both sides I suppose.

Look people, I released the IH-526BJ in raw 18oz.  I thought it would fly off the shelves, it was a slow seller and in the end I had to reduce it to get rid of them.

I don't need to get into the discussions as why this happened, it is fact.  And given that I try to learn from my mistakes, the 526L will be be one-washed.

Personally, I think unsanforized, one-washed hits the sweet spot. No real sizing issues and we still get the denim we are looking for. I'm very curious to see how this turns out. I have a feeling that this is going to be the fastest selling denim jacket of the IH lineup.

I do have another denim jacket in the works.  Not saying anything about it until I have seen the first sample…....
