Viberg

Olive?! Christ I need to recalibrate my screen colour, they look more of a sandy colour on my Macbook than green.
Or is that correct?
On another note entirely chaps - with my new Viberg, fit is fantastic apart from one issue on the left boot. Just above my ankle is hurting a little from the friction, near the top eyelets: I think from the thick leather laces rubbing into it.
Anyone have experience with this? Does it recede after a while?

I'm not sure those new images show the color correctly(although Rafa is the only one who can answer that). They seem more mustard in those images IMHO.
I feel like this might be a better color representation. Shot from the sample sale.

Ah ok, that looks more olive to me!
Just to update on my previous post about discomfort just above the ankle, near the top eyelets, it feels like what is pressing into my ankle is perhaps the tongue too? Anyone had this at first?
Try wearing thicker socks for a few weeks and/or changing up the tightness of the laces. For me, it usually takes a few days to figure out the right combo to get a good fit.
Also, depending on how you tuck the gusset or how much gusset there is, that can also be tweaked to get a better fit.

The tongue. Usually, there is enough to fold it over to create a second layer of protection on the front of your ankle. This can cause some boot bite right at the ankle where your foot bends.

Gorgeous; they yours Finn?
yap they're mine…still! have them up on the market as i type!

well it sure isn't correct :-\ i'm always having problems with my screens and/or to know when my screen is showing the "right" color if some other guys screen is showing the same or a different one (as in your case)…
but tbh. the true color on those is pretty hard to capture and checking it again, Urb is correct!this is more likely to be ttc:

ha, don't make me blush mate ^^
vast numbers of boots? expert? you must be talking about someone elsebut back to your problem…nope I haven't had the problem yet, but i think that's just cuz I look after the tongue/gusset and how it's placed before lacing up the boots! I always make sure that the middle is plain flat and that all the excess leather of the tongue is spread to the left and to the right...
I hope I figured your problem the right way?! :-\
-
Yes I think that's it really, just making sure the tongue is completely flat and the sides are evenly spread.
I'll let you know how I go! Thanks to yours and urbanwoodsman's input, hopefully that solves it.
Otherwise I can wear them just with 5 eyelets threaded and the laces wrapped around, but obviously I'd like to be able to wear them however I please!

Hi guys, I really need the advice on sizing, what size I should get for the 2030 last?
My guess is 2030 last on the Viberg retail store (Freeman sport club, TateandYoko, Superdenim, 14oz etc.)
are made on E width and for 110, 2045 last are made on EE width . Am I right? My foots are pretty wide (2E), I wear Viberg size 8 on 110 EE Last.
sorry for my bad English*Sharing your size on each lasts will be much a good help for me and the others as well

^ atm. i'm a UK9 in all vibergs (lasts: 160, 2030, 2040, 310)!
if you have wide feet, i'm not really sure the 2030last was made for you since it's pretty narrow and flat in the middle of the foot/in the toe box! best bet would be to first try them on (if you're able to!)…
how does your other pairs in UK8 fit? do you have enough of room?
-
I wear standard size UK 8 in 2030 (engineer VMC anni), 2040 (50's service boot) and 110 (iron worker style 146) lasts. I believe all are D or E in my shoes (no idea to be honest).
the 2030 stretched pretty much widewise and shaped nicely to my feet in my case, never had issues with it but guess I have the average not-wide feet though.
I you can get through a sizing-kit with them or try like Finn wrote above, would be probably the best to ensure what size you need in the 2030
