The Flat Head

^ hahaha, you chose one of their slimmest cuts and you are trying to move away from slim/tapered. nice regardless of what you choose, you got some great jeans there.
-
Yeah i got them based off of someone's suggestions… they didnt have what i wanted in stock so i let them suggest a few pairs and i rolled with it. I already had to sell one of the 3 pairs... the one pair they had that i actually did want worked out great and now i'm on the fence over keeping the F310. They are fantastic jeans... just not sure if theyre a cut i wanna keep. If they stretch out enough in the thigh then i would love to keep them though.

Here's my pair of Flat Head F380s
11.5 months of wear
2 hot soaks
2 hot washes
Several ghetto repairsI asked the tailor to hem them an inch and he tapered them an inch instead, which is why the leg opening looks so narrow. He offered me $50 as an apology but I didn't mind the fit so I declined. The old guy was too nice to be taking his money for an honest mistake.

Very nice gee. what belt it that?

On a related note:
Giles do you have any pairs/flicks of FH S5003 that have been worn? Cheers.
-
Yes, somewhere. I have lost them somewhere in the house along with a TWHRII. I'll have another look for them tomorrow. The fading on the S5003 is not great, I used them as a workhorse pair of jeans when I was getting them regularly filthy, so they have had a load of washes. G

Understood and thanks for looking for 'em on my 'count. Not after hooj fades on my denim, which is illustrated by the fact that I've been working on a pair of KMW's for the last few months which are sort of notorious for their indigo cling. A KMW thread is forthcoming.
Word is the 5XXX denim is the antithesis of the 3XXX denim, with a more vintage-looking fade. Thanks G

5100 - same denim as the 5003:

Compare to a 3xxx worn and washed in about the same way:

Certainly less contrasty thean the 3xxx denim. G
