Thx Ben too kind with the points but imo everybody can have style doesnt matter where you live and shop. I dont think i "deserve" more points than anybody else just because i live some 20 minutes from the shop. I know some people who do not shop in that segment where we do and they have a great style too, men or women. I believe it depends on somebodys individual passion as well as interest in something and also the courage to stand for what you are and developing your own style over the years (not only clothes). Imho

For sure. But I have found that in my experience its way easier to get the silhouettes, fits, etc that you want when you can actually try the stuff on. I'm looking forward to testing my theory in LA

I live in Lawton Oklahoma. Hipsters are non-existant in my town. I miss them. The closest thing here is dudes still listening to Nu Metal in their cargo shorts and army boots. Oh, and you're not cool unless you peel out at every stop light. Seriously. I saw a lady in a minivan smoke the front two donuts on her Nissan Quest.
Wow, I have trouble processing that that style of USA still exists.

Goddamnit Uncle Jesse escaped the old folks home again.
Snowy, people still wear overalls, bandanas, etc in the States. And I don't mean stylish IH overalls either.

I live just outside of Chicago, and if you head half an hour west, or an hour south, the culture changes pretty quick…
I spent a few days in Minneapolis this past summer, and I couldn't believe the hipsterville neighborhoods there- just as bad as the hipster hotspots in Chicago... we definately got poo poo'd by a waiter when my wife asked about a Starbucks...

It's ridiculous that people on a shift in food service, or really anyone, gets snobby and disrespectful to folks like that. People up here really are huge locavores, which is great, but it can be taken to religious extremes.

The vast majority of folks we met in the twin cities were really great- we both wanted to spend more time there! But you could definitely tell the scenester neighborhoods. I'd love to come back and try my luck in one of the 10,000 lakes up there.
