Usually a period of time where a new employee can be let go with no fiscal implications to the employer. Probably not something that happens a lot in the US as most employees have effectively zero security of tenure….
Civil servants always have a probation period. I've had a six month probation period and a two year probation period. Everytime I get promoted, I get another two year probation, which means I've been on probation for the last five years…

I have been considering a minimalist wardrobe for a long time, recently I decided that this was a bullshit concept and too restrictive. I have now modified my thoughts to a "functional" wardrobe and am having much fun drawing up the list of items for it to contain.

for anyone who as ever considered removing the little "iron heart" rag that is on the pockets of the work and western shirts… its not a hard task at all. just requires a razor blade and a sewing needle and IMO, and its strictly my opinion becasue I personally just like as little branding as possible on my clothes, makes for just a tad cleaner look for those of us who arent as hep on the tag. to those who do, I still love you.

It's been mentioned numerous times before. Most people use a Seam Ripper as it's less likely to damage the surrounding fabric.
-
cool, I knew I had spoke to G about it one time before but thats the only mention I recall and I was a bit reluctant to try until today. And I actually slipped a paper clip behind the tag to ensure no damage was done to the fabric and kept my blade on the clip backing the tag.. just another approach i suppose
Anyway.. I was just trying to help if anyone was interested, guess it got repeated one more time.

Sold an IH tee to a woman on eBay last month and got a real crappy price for it, the woman messages me a week later to claim that she has not received it. A quick check of her feedback reveals that she does this pretty regularly when folks ship to her without tracking so I decide a course of action.
I have strung her along with excuse after excuse for 45 days since she paid, sick mother (mines dead), business trips, illness etc…. So today I get "Are you going to give me my fucking money back or am I going to have to open a dispute?".
With great pleasure I respond "45 days asshole, read your ebay agreement. You're like Doc Browns license plate OUTTATIME".

Lol. So great.

^i was kind of wondering about that myself…. :-\

Not too bothered, as a)it was £9 and b) ebay can suck my nuts and close my account if they wish, I'll simply use Pams or my cousins account instead. For £9 it was worth dicking her around for 45 days and letting her know about it.
