Been a while since I had the chance to catch up here. Some great photos and evo.
Never got the chance to wish bon voyage to Todd either. Hope all's well back home down under. -

I really like that shot. Nature, (Danner?) boots and nicely faded denim. Great.
-
Thanks man. They're indeed Danners.

Hiking has always been a favorite past time of mine. Great photos. What location is this?

Fantastic pictures again! I'll try to get my share of nature as soon as I finish work today. Will try to upload some pictures when I'm back.
-
What location is this?
LN is in Flagstaff; a fun town in a truly beautiful part of Arizona. Not sure of his exact location for the photos, though.
-
Thanks Chris. That's Lake Mary.
-
Yeah, shoulda known that. It's been too long since I've been there.

@Licorice:
Thanks Chris. That's Lake Mary.
What a beautiful spot, thanks for pics. Now on my increasing hit list of US places I so want to visit.
-
If you and Giles decide to do a trip through northern Arizona, I'm totally inviting myself to come along.
Julie hasn't let me go back there for a decade. She thinks it's "boring" and that there are "too many trees".
Yes, she actually said that.
Texans… -
Too many trees!?
I can't even comprehend that statement.
-
First time I visited Oregon I was asked if we had trees in England (admittedly by v sweet, elderly lady that hadn't travelled far from home)
-
@Licorice:
Too many trees!?
I can't even comprehend that statement.
Yeah. Same here.
She was also weirded out by the fact that Flagstaff is in a National Forest. Arizona is, as everyone knows, one enormous desert.
Apparently, growing up in San Antonio makes you slightly nervous if more than 20 trees are visible at once. Also, trees more than 15 feet tall are intimidating. Repeated trips to North Carolina have been therapeutic, but she still doesn't like being surrounded. :-\
