I had a feeling that was the case, but I'd rather honour the slightly off-beat request  :).

interestingly enough, I decided to clean off the "light coat" of polish the first owner of my road champs had put on before I purchased them, Nearly an hour and a half later, I had all of the polish of the vamp, heel counter and instep stramps….still some on the shafts... I could not believe how thick the layer of polish on these were. After letting them dry i was much happier withthe look but thought iwould see how they looked now that they were not polished to a strange "turd brown".... they actually are much more forgiving across the top of my toes now, the leather does not feel as hard across the toe box.

I am literally shocked at how much polish was on these boots... definitely didnt see that coming.

I'll have to think about how to handle polishing one day. I've just done LP and oiled the outsole edges so far.

and I'll take the I fecking suck award. RC's arrived yesterday, tried them on at midnight, difficult to get on, perfect once on. It's now 1137pm, I'm just home from work and pretty sure I'm not even thinking about sticking boots on. Thankfully they'll be around for a life time :|

get it….i own many mister freedom pieces...and this is by far my favorite....the favorite thing I own maybe!
