IHSH-72 - Ultra Heavy Buffalo Check Western Shirts
-
Thanks G!
-
My XXL 72 is no longer for sale, winter is coming as we say in the frozen North.
-
Not yet…..

I looked at who makes a better heavyweight flannel shirt…..answer came back as no-one.

I'm wondering how much they might possibly shrink in the (Chest) after they are washed.
…With that in mind has anyone washed theirs and found any "shrinkage" through the (Chest) area?
...If Yes, approximately how much (...1/8 inch, ...1/4 inch, ...etc.) in the (Chest) area from their initial IH UK measurements when new? -
Max, great shots man, looks like a lot of fun was had!
-
Thanks, Z! I do wear this shirt almost everyday now, it's so damn comfy. And then there's something else I could say regarding my favorite IH shirt ever. But you would call me crazy (even if it's in a good way).

Say what you will about the 06, 20 or the 72, IMO the 72 is the most wearable fabric of the three.
-
never touched a 72, send yours my way zee.
the 06 is a nice mid weight shirt and the 20 is the heaviest shirt i have ever placed on my back.

Yep, just remeasured, 22.5"!

^^ D97x7
Thanks (…for the reply)!
At (22.5") it's almost a full inch of "Shrink" off the (23.4") listed size for the (XL).
Can you also tell me how was it (WASHED: Cold vs. Hot) and (DRIED: Hung-Dry vs. Dryer on high heat)?
Was just wondering if your intention was to "Shrink" it a bit on purpose.
(...Or, if that's about the average amount of "Shrink" to be expected.)??

i can't say for sure with the 72, but with my other IH flannels i cold washed and hung dry and didn't see a substantial amount of shrinkage. They also stretched back out after wearing them for a little while. Hope that helps.
