IH-634-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo
-
thanks rocket!
-
Should I size one up? My 634S in 32x34 fit´s pretty perfect, I could wear em without a belt. Does the XHS stretch a little bit?
-
Please don't JCM, they will look much better on you fitting snugly.
-
Well at first I wasn't convinced id be able to pull off this fit- but it looks like us chicken-legged fecks can do it too!
Blown away by the denim, loving having a not so skinny fit (I feel it fits me like a 1940s 501), currently going through the first phase of hip pain. Stoked to be a part of the cardboard pants club!

Very nice, SSOL!
-
Thanks Ms G!
Question to those of you who soak/wash the 25 oz: did you do it before really wearing them? I'm thinking of breaking them in for a week and then doing a cold soak to help prolong life and avoid rips at the cuff creases, etc. gentle cold soak should work? Or is this just myth?

Well either way. I know it's been discussed, but I always appreciate input the longer people having been wearing the denim. I don't have a tub at the moment so I may just say fuck it until the first wash. But I'd really hate to see tears at the cuffs… I'm also not convinced a preemptive soak will do anything to mitigate that.

I do it with all my jeans. Unnecessary or not, I like the peace of mind
You don't have to use a tub. I use a large paint bucket I bought at the hardware store for a couple bucks
Good idea. Just cram them in there? Inside out?
-
SSOL looks on spot!!!
-
Thanks for the feedback friends. Gonna go look for a bucket tomorrow and then soak em up!
-
Soak em, it will settle the seams and stuff like that.
-
Is turning them inside out really necessary for just a cold soak?
-
No, not for a soak. Only if you're machine washing do you need to turn them inside out.
