i was hoping to see a different purse….
that one does look really nice though. I'm excited to see how natural veg tan purses will patina....since I don't think I've ever seen it before.
I got my wife all excited about the wabi sabi of the whole thing!

Although nowhere near the craftsmanship of the leather goods above but thought would sling in a project did last year. I wanted a lanyard/keychain for a Porter pouch I bought. I wanted it to use mil spec hardware and ballistic cordura nylon sooooo…..
I combined 1680d cordura with two mil-spec snap hooks and one mil-spec austrialpin cobra buckle (which can carry a shit load of weight). The cobra buckle alone coat me £20.Did the stitching on my mates antique sewing machine, which he uses to mend shoes. Unfortunately my sewing skills are shit - as you can see!
It works well but is a bit long so going to adjust the length of the nylon and re stitch!

Also….. Customised his and hers toys for the top of our wedding cake. Here is the one for me and also another I cutstomised for decoration around the house. I'm nuts about Japanese tattoos so customised them with imagery drawn from the tattoos of sensei horiyoshi III.

It's humbling and crazy how many talented people are on this forum.

I have to agree but it triggered a thought in my head. We all have varied paths getting here, but ultimately (despite some collections) we all decided quality was going to win over quantity in our choices. This requires abject critical thought. It should then not be lost that some of histories most deep thinkers, also had great artistic sides.
