Self Edge x Iron Heart = SEXIH22-301s
-
These are some great pants that fit a void in my collection since I sold my 555-03. They are slim but have a functional top block. The thigh is a tiny bit tight, especially after a good leg day at the gym but I'm sure they will loosen up. Check out the right leg twist, it's intense!
That fit looks perfect; slim but not too skinny. I'm sure the thigh will be fine with a bit of wear. Yeah, that's a hell of a leg twist!

my MBB's were making me angry cause I didnt like the high rise. I got my tax return and I wanted to spend money big, so I started perusing the website for some new Iron Hearts… then I realized I live 20 min from Self Edge.
I got in there with 10 minutes left in the working day, put on one pair of Iron hearts and the thighs were too tight. I think it was the 666's. The nice guy behind the desk told me to put on these. Bought them instantly. These fit so much better than my MBB's and are literally the best jeans I've ever worn. They look so good with my engineers and my Red Wing 877's.
Cannot wait to break these in. Will try and get fit pics in.

Finn, here's a link to the for sale section of the forum if you're having trouble finding it:

Thanks for helping out the noob.
I'm sure this "Finn666" person will eventually figure out how to sell things on the forum.

not want to open up a thread, so just a "fyi" in the thread…and now go and kill yourself tw!

unfortunately it seams that all cuts/collabs tend to differ from the original cut (in this case 301S), so i went for the same size i wear in the standard 301S cut. looks like it was a mistake though

Where those measurements you were supposed to provide to me Finn, bad bizness young man.

Well, so far some light neon blues are peaking through mine but only time will tell.

How do you guys feel about the half arcs? It makes sense for the SE/Flat Head collaborations, since the standard "F" embroidery doesn't look so hot (imagine a Siamese fighting fish with poop trailing from its rear), but I definitely prefer the standard IH back pocket design. I was on the fence with these, but I think it's a deal breaker for me.

You could always remove it and have a blank pocket. Should only take about 10-15 minutes with a stitch ripper. It would be a shame to write off a great pair of jeans over something this simple.
By the way, I like the half arc.

For sure; a little surgery could do the trick. I'll have to trust my hands with a poking/cutting implement and $400 jeans though haha. Thank you for the input!

I removed the arcs on my SEXIHXLSXA13's. It's easy to do, and would be hard to screw up.
