Nice. I've only played a couple Dr. Z's, but they both sounded killer. I haven't gigged in 5 years or so, I hate that my amp isn't getting the use it deserves.

Hey people!
I have a question concerning a "maybe" crotch blowout on my 6.5 months old 634S.
The spot that is shown on the pictures was one of the first to fade and loose indigo, but then I started to drive my bike instead of walking through my hometown, and this is what happens.
The spot has increased during the last couple of days and I will not ignore it anymore. What do you people recommend to take care of this baby mess?
I will not go to a shop and get them repaired by someone else, I want to do this myself.Any help would be awesome!
Kind regards! -
Those look great! Nice work.

Hey guys - sorry in advance for being the lame new guy who asks a question that's probably been asked 100s of times already on the forum! Also apologies for being long winded - important part is bolded!
I've been interested in raw denim for a while now and have been lurking on several forums. I like the idea of buying something that is of great quality that will last and last
I've finally taken the plunge and bought a pair of IH-634S and am looking forward to receiving them soon! My question is - should I pre soak or not? I know that there is no real need to do so as these jeans are sanforized. But I've also heard that it may be a good option to remove some of the excess starch/stiffness that may cause blowouts.
My main concern is durability! The idea of fading my own jeans is awesome too but is not my number 1 concern.
I should also say that I purchased W29. I think that my true size is 29.5-30 (I recently bought a pair of levis 504 and 508 - not raw - both size 29 which fit me fine in the store… they have stretched a bit now and I need to wear a belt)
Cheers!

I think you're going to end up with a great pair of jeans…and everyone started somewhere. You don't need to presoak, there's hardly any starch in these in my opinion.
For durability....make sure you wash your jeans frequently! Once a month (which isn't even that frequent) will lead to jeans that last a lot longer and that actually fade naturally and won't look predistressed.

You're in for a treat with these 634S's. They are soft as a baby's butt and amazing from Day1. They are as durable as it gets. I've had my pair for coming up on 3 years now and they're still in a fantastic shape. I don't wash mine too often as I don't want them to fade all that fast - mind you, the 634S is a tough beast to fade anyhow
