Gibby Haynes from butthole surfers and amy yates wurlfing who is the Co-author of No Slam Dancing, No Stage Diving, No Spikes were on the daily show two nights ago promoting said book, which is a history of legendary Trenton NJ club City Gardens the other night.
It also brought out the fact that Stewart was a bartender at CG, which is pretty great. Haynes has a nice little tribute to Dave Brockie at the start as well. One of my favourite daily show interviews in awhile

Just the link unfortunately as the copy function on my iPad wasn't playing nicely with their embed text.

David Lamb died a week ago the 5th of april to lukemia.
Sad sad day. Came as a shock to me when I read the instagram/facebook message last sunday. I somehow always thought he was going to pull through and make it.Brown bird has been my absolute favorite band the last couple of years.
5th of april is the bane of 3 musical heroes in my life.
Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley and now David Lamb.
A short live session of Brown Bird. Check it out!
