Hey folks!
I just measured my IH-634S out of curiosity. I bought a W29 and I measured as Madame Butterfly taught me, 41cm (*2=82cm which is a 32 somehow).
That means, my pair has stretched for nearly 4 inch.
The jean fits me nearly perfect, even shirt tucked in, love it no matter what. Are 4 inches of stretch for real?
Next time I size up!Have a good one!

I'm new to raw denim and seriously considering getting a pair of IH-634s's. Can anyone comment on their how comfortable they are in warm weather? The 21oz seems like it might be a bit heavy.

Welcome, wingjammer. There are lots of us (myself included) that wear the 21oz all year long. It's a phenomenally-versatile denim that breathes very well, despite it's weight.
Also, just so you know, this thread is for the unsanforized 21/23oz raw. It's not the same denim as the 21oz, which is sanforized. You can find the traditional 634s here:

Great choice, BTW.

It is heavy, but there are other factors that affect how comfortable a pair of jeans will be. The 21oz denim is a loose weave, which makes it more breathable than many lighter weight denims. That makes the 634S more comfortable to wear in warm weather. I live in Houston, and I wear my pair year round, even in our miserably hot and humid summers.
For what it's worth, the hottest wearing pair of jeans I've owned since living here was a pair made of 12.5oz denim.
(Oh, and I moved your post to the appropriate thread. )

Thanks, you're right as usual. Could have sworn it was 13.

Restocked. Sizes 36 and 40 now available again.

Thanks seanocono and Chris for the information. Ordered a pair yesterday. UPS tracking indicates they should arrive on Thursday. Can't wait!
Any tips on care for them during the first few months of wear? My plan is to go as long as possible (6+ months) without washing.

Wear then until they needed washing. Wash. Repeat….
Backed. What the definition of needing a wash is, is very personal. You, wingjammer, will know when it's time to wash. These jeans are basically indestructible, a machine wash does very little to the colours/fading (just make sure the jeans are inside out).
Enjoy your new jeans!

Wash them when your girlfriend tells you. This is what I learned from my pair of 634S.
