What the hell is this devils magic ???? Build on the "Boss" last ??? :o

Yeh agreed, but $249 with a Vibram mini lug, build on the Boss last and available from stock…...helloooooo
-
Although that side patch is fucking awful
-
But the price isn't…
-
How would White's obtain - or be allowed to build on a "Boss" last?!? I imagine White's and Wesco are somewhat friendly rivals, co-existing in the same space and all (just guessing) - but for White's to build a boot on Wesco's proprietary last at a 1/3 of the cost seems kind of outrageous… That can't be right???

The heel looks nice!!!
Do anyone know if its possible to ship some Hukurokuju buckles to Whites for some nice Nomad Engineers? -
Got a strong feeling you'd have to order a standard pair, then make the modifications…
-
EastWest, do keep us posted. The nomads are a hell of a nice looking engineer boot. However my understanding is that Whites have been dicks about doing most mods to them (eg a 10" shaft, roller buckles, longer instep straps). Wasn't till recently that they would even do em in a soft toe. A shame because they are a great 50s styled engineer and you can get them in black cxl (like daizawagy's, whose also rockin the soft toe )

Some heels modified by Brass Tokyo
Great job. These are looking pretty close to perfect, IMO…
...actually, wait... I love everything about these.

I love waxed rough-outs! Waxed (Obenaufs LP) black rough-out:
-
Nice! What did you apply the LP with? Cloth, brush?
-
Thanks!
A small brush and my hands. The warmth of my hands helped the wax to melt into the leather, Obenaufs is without harmful chemicals, so you can do it just with your hands Pretty nice stuff!
The black RO was pretty stiff, the wax smoothed it up a lot, and now its pretty comfy, the boots fit better from day to day.
