I have a Yamanote line alarm clock that plays all the jingles, I wake up happy every day

Used to be this bar out in Ichikawa called the Crazy Cactus. Originally owned by a gaijin, but later bought by a bit of an eccentric Japanese guy. He decked the place out in aquariums and crayfish ponds. And also a large screen and projector. Whenever I went in for a beer he'd have a DVD of a rural train journey going. Like Giles vid, but for hours upon hours. No wonder he went out of business.

I've thought of getting that, lol. What I was really hunting for was the JR clocks. I love the simplicity of their design, and green/yellow color scheme.
(EG of clock for those who've not seen)

This is my alarm clock, my favourite jingles are Shimbashi, Hamamatsucho and Shinjuku.

You can also do a manual setting, but yes it does work by atomic clock in standard mode.

I could post some bad pictures (crap photographer) of the trip, but going through them all, all I have been taking pics off is the crowds, graffiti, cars, bikes, and the bars we were in…
This being my first time to Tokio, my brain was pretty much scrambled by all the awesome sights (and sounds). Getting approximately 2 hours of sleep per night didn't really help matters. My personal highlights were visiting the IH Hachioji office, and meeting the guys and girls there. They're a very funny gang, and they had a lot of fun watching me during dinner to see if I would drop dead (I have serious allergies, always fun to travel)
The upcoming winter collection is next level. We also went to The Flat Head Show, and met with Kobayashi-san. We saw some very impressive stuff whilst there too.
The rest of the time there was spent just walking around, taking in all the sights, and getting to know a lot of cool people from around the globe. Oh, and getting pretty hammered every night...
I'm looking forward to going back and meeting everybody again. On to the next one!
