After the last few days I wanted to get outside and just spend time with my kids. First activity, weed Momma's flower garden.

Doing fine until she gets bored and he starts trying to eat rocks

And he wants to run as far away as possible

And she follows

Simple things like this can completely brighten my day.

Today is the 70th anniversary of the D Day landings.  Gosport and Portsmouth played a large part in the preparations.  Well, we need no excuse to get the Red Arrows down here to do their stuff.  They never cease to amaze me and always bring a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye.

I picked H up from Heathrow one day and bought him down to Gosport.  We were sitting around the pond and The Red Arrows appeared overhead.  They did their stuff for about 15 mins and we all watched in awe, when they finished I turned to Haraki,  "I hoped you liked that, it cost me a feckin fortune"…..
