Converse

Before they were Converse, they were B F Goodrich. Didn't know that until I found this picture of a pair from the 1930's: http://imgur.com/gallery/uirxn

Nice comparison shots MM, and I confess to wondering the same. I'm not a big fan of Converse due to my flat feet but I appreciate the history and provenance of the shoe, and I get that the "Made In The USA" Cons are much sought after due to the increase in this provenance, but the issue between the Made In China and the Made In Vietnam has always escaped me.

I've seen both in the flesh (don't own any Cons due to my wide feet) and there is definitely a difference. The first string are definitely worth more but how much more I'm not sure. Based on UK prices, the first string should cost what standard Cons are now and the standards should be about £15 less.

Only Urb could pull that off.

It's the sock/rug combo that really makes that picture.
