WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)

To be honest, I did this yesterday, but thought I'd share. I've wanted one of these for a long time, they're quite rare. It's a skibob by Porschedesign from the seventies. The reason they are so rare (wild guess) is because there is no way to brake whatsoever, only 2 ski's that you can mount on your feet. Had to drive to Germany to pick it up, and only had 15 minutes on the autobahn, not nearly long enough, but still nice to go full throttle with the old M3

That thing is insanely beautiful.

Here are a bunch of shots from Masterpiece London, which is an art fair for the 1%… I'd been given a free ticket, so went along to see what was there.
A lot of the stuff was tacky, but there were some interesting pieces.
It was held in a temporary building in the grounds of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea. This was wrapped in a photographic skin to make it look like something a bit more Georgian.
This sculpture, entitled Masterpiece, looks like a mass of rubbish. But it casts a silhouette portrait.
Thirteenth or fourteenth century sword. This was forged in Italy or Germany, and had been part of the Armoury of Alexandria's supplies. The blade had an Arabic inscription on it, and there were notches along the edge suggesting it'd seen action.
Keith Haring Pyramid.
A lump of (or off) the HMS Victory.
LeCorbusier designed manhole cover. With the right provenance, even the functional becomes overpriced.
This was a Georgian map of London, reaching out to about ten miles from the centre. I was really fascinated by it because it was possible to see some of the roads from my neighbourhood, except it was all fields and villages.
No comment necessary. No, it wasn't on that stand.
Scorched oak rocking chair. I was rather taken by it, but not the £25,000 price tag!
A giant terracotta tortoise.
A Jaeger LeCoultre Spherotourbillon pocket watch. I've got a video clip of it in motion.
