Bitch Please… FAKE Iron Heart?
-
Just some half arsed attempts of…
"They just want what other people wear"
and
"They only do it for the money"
Well......duh
-
It was a Samurai group to talk and share Samurai pics and stuff. When the admin was still active, all sale posts had been removed. For some months it turned into a South East Asian bazaar…and now with mainly fakes popping up (IH and Samurai...Evisu most likely too as there are probably more fakes Evisus than genuine ones )
The Japanese denim thread is not a lot better nowadays...

Well I think the post has at least provoked some debate. My Facebook notifications have been lit up like a Christmas tree since I posted, and I'm not sure if I'm banned from Malaysia or not

Go hunting you lazy bum
Not lazy, don't have Facebook, and am not signing up just to read this. If it was good you'd happily share here, or so I'm hoping ::)

Giles and Mega,
There is some way for IH to report it,because like software piracy & entertainment medias there's a dept that handles it here. They even do raids and seizure of items. Please do lodge an official complain from the manufacturer. We can't do much here. What they meant by "they just wanna wear" is not defending them, but its the nature of things. Without demand there won't be a supply. And we here are powerless to do anything legal against those sellers. And those fuckin sellers, they don't give a shit except making money. Momotaro was one of the earliest japanese brand that got ripped for the past year, now they're getting to IH and samurai's. Eventhough evisu was ripped off way2 early 4-5 years ago,but it didn't reach to today's level.Seriously, all of us that has an IH,Samurai,Momo etc, knows that we saved up our money to buy them. Some of them are even saying that we're rich people that can afford it. Seriously, they really have a retarded mentalities.
just my 2 cents. you can check out the sellers IG and FB for more details, like KAITAI.

Thanks for helping out with this @dlaz , I feel bad not only for the real brands but for guys like you who work hard for your good gear, I think Malaysia in particular has a great denim scene and I hate that these idiot fakers might make people think otherwise.
-
Mega made the point and the same thing baffles me. Why, if you have the means, would you not just create something original. If fakes are being sold to dupe people or if people knowingly buy fakes to pretend they have the actual item then the duped should really know much much better (the amount of research I did first time round!) and the fakers should engage their brains because the whole point of quality denim is the fabric, the feel, the cut and the tradition.
I wonder how much of this shoddy merch is actually sold?
-
Speaking to some guys who messaged me yesterday it sadly seems like quite a lot of these jeans are sold, and it also seems that the reason these guys don't just make their own brand is that their manufacturing policy might not be entirely ethical.
From my understanding of what I was told yesterday many of these fake jeans are actually made in China and sold in Malaysia and Thailand mainly.

Makes sense that the means are unethical. Still didn't understand why the denim sells. Kudos for going deep end there Mega. Sounds like a lot of the group members are understandably disenfranchised with how their Sammy discussion page morphed into a fake denim bazaar. Why don't the page administrators just lock those perps down?
