i think ill give them a go. well those or whites something with heels
-
do you find those heels ok to walk in (not as dumb as it sounds) i bought a pair of red wing boots in a similar style but after years of wearing flat crepe style boots redwings etc i couldnt get on with the heels its a shame as i would love a pair of boots like those .
It does not matter what height the heel is as long as the weight is properly distributed between the heel and the ball of the foot. Wesco boot are usually super comfortable in that respect because they have lasts for each variation of boot (and they know what they are doing - which always helps)
I was chatting to Chris@Wesco about this last night. If you order a Packer with a normal height heel, they will use a completely different Packer last than if you order a Packer with a different heel height. That is because they need to account for different weight distribution when the heel height varies.
So taking your Wesco boot to the local cobbler to (say) remove one heel lift will screw with the weight distribution and you are unlikely to have a comfortable boot.
Just think about this for a moment. Let's say in a size 9 Packer they have 5 widths and 4 heel heights. Just to be able to make one size 9 boot of any width/heel height combination, they need 20 lasts…..
I can't wait to see the last room....

Feck, they know their game.

I saw some Wesco this weekend which were cool enough to make a monk renounce his vows. Lace to toe Jobmaster oxfords which were simply amazing

These boots gave me an erection.
I will be requiring a pair.
