Can anyone here help finding a cobbler/ shoemaker in Germany that can handle resoling of Wesco Boss boots?
I'm owning a pair of stock Boss boots with the vibram lug soles and want to replace them with thick leather soles, like Brian the bootmaker does. All the cobblers I asked told me it's impossible. I rather think they are unwilling to do it because of the lots of labor involved in the task.I could send them in to Brian, but the shipping costs to USA are quite high, and I'd prefer to have it done somewhere in Germany.
Is there a cobbler one of you can recommend?

woops, meant to continue in the same post. sorry.
Anyway
These arrived yesterday.I wanted to play it safe with this make up (which is pretty much their stock standard boss) I just added the bump toe, 700 sole and natural midsole.
The only thing I'm not 100% stoked with is (and it was my fault entirely) the buckles. They give you the option of a "wesco" branded roller buckle, but I assumed that the other buckles were roller buckles just not branded and they aren't. These are fine, but they'll be getting replaced at some point.
Bakers was super easy to deal with, no surprise there.
I'm very glad I have my wesco size now, those IH collabs are really exciting.
