My new work backpack that I've been using for the past month or so. Great soft Napa Leather, super comfy and the quality is great. Several compartments and laptop storage. Padded goodness on the back and shoulder straps. Tumi Alpha Leather T-Pass Business Class Briefpack. Not to forget my Iron Heart Metal Tag.

Waiting for this Beauty (thanks to JCMx800 for pointing me in that direction!)
Won't replace my deuter backpack for real outdoor stuff, but I was looking for a bag that fits better to my other gear and isn't made of synthetic fabric.

It arrived yesterday - awesome fabric (Cotton duck above 20 oz, maybe even 25 oz) and nice Hardware and leather. Highly recommend. I even think of getting the White one, it will look killer when it gets stained and indigo transfer.

It's a beautiful well made daypack, you'll love it!

I spent the entire week aboard USS MIDWAY and around San Diego doing intensive leadership training, and was accompanied by my Goruck GR-1. It was packed to the gills with an entire change of clothes (boots, shirt, pants, hat, etc.), notebooks, snacks, and a few miscellaneous items, and did so with ease. I kicked that bag around and beat the crap out of it, and you'd never know it. That's a tough effing bag right there.

any suggestions for a good weekender bag?

Price range? Material preference?

I am unlikely ever to buy anything other than this again. Built like a tank, loads of sizes and styles and virtually waterproof. Plus it is reasonably priced. All my adult life I have travelled extensively, given the way airlines treat it, all luggage will fail at some point, may as well have it be relatively cheap to replace.

Price range? Material preference?
300-500 probably. just something that will last. for. ever.
