L.A. Trip… Help!

Hey guy's,

I'm going to be in L.A. on 19 - 23 Feb for work.

I'd like to visit as many stores and workshop/manufacturers as possible. Of course, I'll go to SELA and Mister Freedom but do you guy's have any advice for me?

I'm staying in West Hollywood when I find some accommodation that doesn't cost a small fortune.

Railcar seems like it'd be a fun factory visit. Most Rising Sun in the area too?

Rising Sun and Chucks Vintage are well worth a look, get a burger at the In n' Out for your Lebowski fix and grab some alligator sausage pizza at House Of Blues on Sunset.

Which area are you staying in dude?

Those are actually different areas, but I agree the Fairmont is amazing. Hemi is talking about the WeHo area.

Catch a flick at Grauman's Chinese Theater or Arclight Hollywood. Too many good restaurants to list, but if you're in the Main St. Santa Monica/Venice area, the La Isla Bonita truck on Rose & 4th is on another level, and is a definite local favorite. They don't even advertise (not even on Twitter); no need. Ceviche, Al Pastor, and Campechana are my faves.

Freedom, House of Blues...Rising Sun is in Eagle Rock, kinda hard to find but I can give you directions.
Know a bunch of other places as well.

Thanks so much to Karen (Blackheart) for looking after me on my last day in L.A. She was kind enough to take me to Santa Monica and Malibu which were the highlights of my trip.

Karen also has an insanely impressive room full of boots, leather jackets, denim and hunting outfits… I've never seen anything like it!
