IHV-02-BLK - 12oz Wabash/Duck Work Vest - Black/Black
This 12oz work vest is constructed using a indigo sulphur dyed wabash face, backed with a navy duck canvas. Easily layered over a t-shirt in the spring or under a jacket in the winter, it’s a solid all year-round piece, and with the warp and weft both being rope dyed, you are sure to see plenty of evolution the more it is worn.

Good call on the hardware and thread. Great contrast all over this one.

I think that's probably my favorite IH vest so far.

Black Wabby tux…

Who needs a suit when you have that…
You just like it because it's Seulphur-dyed…
OK, I'll show myself out.

Looking forward to fit pics Bluegrass .

First impression, I really like it, but still not sure how/when to wear it. Fit is a little bit funky - seems quite a bit roomier than my normal XXXL but I couldn't really size down imo due to the length - I have a pretty long torso anyway. I cinched it in the back and I think that works pretty well. I love the material - it feels more broken-in than a lot of IH heavy gear. Very solid/substantial but still quite pliable.
Here are a couple of pics wearing it over a thin t-shirt, it might work/look better with a beefier cotton t-shirt. You can see how much I had to cinch it in the back. I actually could pull it even tighter.
And here it is with a heavy flannel… I tried buttoning it with the flannel and it didn't look good - almost seems like you need to tuck your under-shirt in when you button it? I might try it with my Johnny Cash or chambray work shirt. First world problems.
I'd like to see some more pics of how other folks use this vest.

I really like the look of it over the tee and it doesn't look bad with the flannel either IMO. When the front of my shirt ends just past the belt line I'll button up. If there is too much front and tail I leave it open. I imagine it would look cool with a chambray (white, blue, red) or a lighter colored flannel. For inspiration check out the other vest threads, I know there are some good looks there!

Looks great to me @bluegrass. I'm having the same conundrum with this one! Really want it but not sure how I would wear it. Your pics may have just tipped me closer to the edge though! Ps I have seen a few shots of non denim vests being worn with the 13 and the combo of the wabash and the chambray looks pretty sweet!
