The Flat Head

Killer fit and cool details. More of my RJB window pane shirt. It looks kind of plain which is why I'm sure it didn't sell well online and made it to the warehouse sale.
The fabric is so soft and I would consider mid-weight. My guess would be 7-8 oz. Selvedge details and metal buttons kick it up a notch.

I was just telling somebody that the pictures on que pasa shop's site made this shirt seem kinda plain and that I would wait and see if it's still there after the next round of discounts… And then I figured that RJB wouldn't ever make a boring shirt so I ordered the gray one. Thanks for the details @summ3rhays ! Now I know I made the right choice.

Their pics didn't do a lot of the products justice IMO. Too dark and the background was shit IMO.

If we're being honest, Self Edge's product pics are often pretty bad to begin with. I saw one of them that had the model backlit by the sun, in an alley. Thanks a bunch, didn't need to see what color those jeans were anyway…
-
I'm ok with the pics being crap. They were unloading stuff, quickly and cheaply. I knew what I would buy if the price was right. In fact I think it worked out in my favor. I didn't have to ponder over the pics. I see IH, TFH, RJB or MF and I know the size and style that works or doesn't before the pics even load. Then again I may be a bit of a fanatic. With the way a lot of these sample sales go, it's buy early or you're screwed.

^yep, was mainly griping about SE, who cares for a closeout…
-
Honestly I think self edges pics are pretty damn good. Really often I'll know of something and it'll take seeing their pics to make me need it.
-
I'll have to respectfully disagree. In addition to the back lighting faux pas, I noticed a very long bodied untucked shirt obscuring the entire top block of some chinos recently.
-
Maybe you're right regarding jawnz, tbh I don't really look at those since usually they don't work for me.
I'm mainly talkin bout shirts, in which case I think they do a great job
-
It's just a normal collar so there's nothing too crazy to see, but that shirt's amazing… it's actually RJB and the weave seriously feels like it's hand knit or something. It's pretty spectacular, I definitely have to think about picking it up.
-
Yep, rjb is definitely more out there than flat head, but the shirt is incredibly impressive nonetheless.

All flat head, tops from sale. Was really stoked to see these, had my eye on them for quite some time. Strangely I swear that this tee feels softer than my other thc ones, maybe because it's new, or loopwheeled? No idea…

40, as I am in basically everything flat head. It fits exactly how I like, super short length and sleeves but comfortable in width!
-
Weird how we take the same size in TFH shirting but I don't think I'd be at all comfortable in a 40 t-shirt. 42 works much better for me.
Nice sweat. Ummed and ahhed over a couple of TFH zips during last year's Take 5 sale but the style wasn't really me.
-
SM, i felt the same way for a while, but after getting all my other clothes at the right size it was clear the 42 was too big for me. The 40 starts out tight, but since it's just cotton the body stretches very readily with some pressure. And since literally every other measurement is a lot better in the 40, I'm pretty happy with the result!
