IHD-01 - Special G Denim Version
-
We are def going ahead with this. It is not going to be cheap though, the denim is so tough (18oz slubby unsanforised raw) that we are going to have to use the jacket factory to make it, not the shirt factory. The difficulty of construction is akin to a jacket.
Having said that, it is currently my fave IH piece, super versatile and really comfortable.
I'm aiming for a Dec delivery on it.

This one is foooocking killer
I'll take one XL, is it too early to preorder? -
Any estimated price point on this one?
-
Going to order the production run this week, I would suspect ready Dec…G
Hi MistaGee:
are we still on a December schedule for this IHW-01 - Special G Denim Version?
Can't wait
-
My fingers are firmly crossed - but to be honest I was a little late getting my act together, so I am hoping that Haraki can pull something out of the hat for me…G
One thing you gotta remember: you hold the handle, us junkies will wait, seen?
-
So sad this never happened for the rest of us
-
monday I am in total agreement, how did this one ever get shelved, it's just such a perfect piece of IH gear. It would be a true shame if it never came to be. Can we all cross our collective fingers and make this happen please!
-
didn't get a chance to beat up on Haraki about this, sorry zhivago.
when i inquired about why it wasn't going into production, the process was explained so poetically i just had to gracefully bow out of the fight

well thanks for trying and knowing when to not try harder, that is a quality I really appreciate in people. -
OK. It was a massive disappointment that the factory can't make this out of the 18oz raw denim.
But I took to wearing my sample again this weekend (It has been up at Aero for a few months).
Wearing is again made me understand just how versatile this shirt/jacket is.
So I came up with Plan B…..
Make it out of the raw 12oz denim that we use for IHSH-27:

Still use the nice oversized snaps (or perhaps the mother of pearl ones we used on IHSH-37).
What do you reckon?
