The Flat Head

^3005?
-
Yes sir, the best cut for me!
-
I think the 3009 will be my next pair, that's why I asked. The arkauten emasurements differ a lot for them.
-
Imo the 3005 is a better cut…id strongly recommend you do your research!

I just got the SEXFHXRR10 in the mail today, and I expected the overall jean not to be as slim as it is.
These images are pre-soak. Can you guys give me some opinions on the fit? Do you think it'll be too tight after a soak? Cos I normally prefer my jeans to be slightly roomier in the waist. This is a size 28. I bought this size because I read online that the waist would be about 3 inches larger than tag size. I wear a 30 in most jeans.

Hey all. Boring sizing question i'm afraid but I can't find answers anywhere. I wear a size L Ihsh-21 and it fits perfectly. Could I get away with a Flat Head 7002W in a size 44? Length is good, shoulders and chest the same. I'm just worried about the 19.5 inch waist! Never bought a Flat Head shirt before but have read they size weird.
Thanks in advanceThey are great shirts but fairly tapered. If you have a fairly flat stomach it will work otherwise it won't.
Thanks for that Danny. Will try and shed some pounds over Xmas (?!!).

Long rise and skinny legs, I must say I think it's a weird look personally. Reminds me of a drop crotch vibe. Perhaps a soak would help.
-
The front look ok but I don't think the back will look good, even after a soak. The whole seat looks too wide / low for such a slim fit & your skinny build.
-
that would be a fine post soak slim fit, but as it is I don't think you'll enjoy it after full shrinkage from washes, which has to happen eventally.
then again take this with a grain of salt because im not familiar with the denim; but any denim ive had would not have (and did not!) work out with a pre soak fit like that.
I also just got some tees (tm series and flat lock) and fuck they're nice. I'll never stop being impressed when I crack open a fresh fh tee!
-
grabby22, I think you'll be fine with those. Left hand twill doesn't usually shrink as much as right hand twill and should stretch back where it needs to without too much effort. This is borne out by the detail on the Self Edge description of this jeans.
-
Thanks for your opinions guys!
I don't think I can make them work post-soak.
Kiya has offered to let me exchange them for store credit. I was hoping they'd have a size 29 lying around in one of their stores but they have completely sold out…
But I have to say, this denim is one of the most interesting denim I've ever seen and touched. And the details on the top block are really cool.
I really wish they had a 29...If anyone has a brand new or near brand new pair of SEXFHXRR10 in size 29 please PM me. I'd be more than happy to take them from you!

@grandmasterben those 3005 are looking nice. I'm assuming you've gotten all the shrink out of them. Would you mind measuring the inseam length on yours? Thanks!
-
Thanks @jeef! These were hemmed before I got them, but max shrink on inseam from hot washes will be 32.5"
-
From what I understand the exceed denim (100x) is similar, shrinks less, and has a longer inseam. Check out the 1001
