Claims To Fame, or "I touched a celebrity"

And speaking of Lemmy…Back in 1981 some friends and I went o see Motorhead at a small club in the San
Fernando Valley called the Country Club. Motorhead were on tour opening for Ozzy and they did a one off
gig there. My friend Leslie and I walked in and Lemmy was at the bar, we went up to ask for his autograph
and he sat us both on his knees, bought us a rum & coke and spent the next half hour chatting with us.
One of my favorite rock & roll moments ever. -
oh i forgot, i met tucker max and drank with him after the premier of his movie. he's actually a crazy smart guy and wasn't a dick- very nice to women and men alike. i'm fairly convinced that his book/movie character is just for show/money.

Lemmy tryin to style u and ur buddy BH? Thats pretty awesome!!
Trick, i don't understand dudes that are scared of naked chicks man. My buddies are pretty weak like that too. Mind u our stip club is a dive but its freakin hillarious sometimes -
Ya i hear you man. Im not into being harassed the whole time either. Sometimes i just fuck with them but most get the point with a simple "no thx".
To get back on track (and still has to do with chicks). Im a big MMA fan and watch pretty much evert UFC and also check out the low budget shows that happen in or around my city. So i hear a rumour that "Meisha Tate" is supposed to show up in my city (pop of 75k lol) at a shitty lil hockey arean to sign autographs. I was pretty skeptical and didnt want to pay for tix because 1.) i figure she aint commin and 2.) there was a pretty big UFC ppv on that night. So a friend and i decide to drive to the event before the ppv came on and take a look for her. We get there and i tell him to just follow me and i proceed to walk into the lobby, around the merch table, nod at security and just walk right in (hahaha actually worked out like it did in my head). We get in and spot Meisha so we walk over to her table, past the 2nd set of security lol and get inline to meet her and her bf Brian Carraway!! She was pretty friendly (seemed a bit exhausted from talking tho) and he was super nice.
Only the pic of her is important lol -

Mind u our stip club is a dive but its freakin hillarious sometimesI kind of hate "strip clubs" but I like "titty bars" if that makes any sense. To me, there's a huge difference between a spot where some broad is trying to hustle me into paying for a lapdance (or whatever else) every ten minutes and a place that's just a divey kind of bar with a naked chick on a pole. The former is pretty awful, but I tend to like the latter. If I'm drinking why not have naked chicks there too?
AND THE CHICKS AT JUMBO'S AREN'T EVEN NAKED, DUDE, DAMN.
if youve ever been to bushwick in brooklyn

I don't know if she qualifies as a celebrity, but I had intimate relations with a Man Booker prize listed writer this summer.

Ooh! Gissa clue! Listed when zwer?

Alison Goldfrapp from Goldfrapp came to view my house which was up for sale. Her agent had informed me not to look at her and defo not to speak to her…I hate all that crap and when someone tells me something like that... Well needless to say I will go out of my way to do just about the opposite....
She arrived, rocked up in my kitchen, shades on, head down, I walked in gave her a beaming smile and said, " Hi " we chatted for about half an hour, while her agent glowered in the corner! [emoji38]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think this is the best example of "I touched a celebrity" in this entire thread.

Righto zwer! It'll give me something to investigate and lighten the working day with. Don't worry @zwer i wouldn't post any guesses.
Just finished reading (not riding!) a Booker nominee from 2014. Anyone who loves a fertile imagination and great storytelling should check out The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell.

Got another.
A few years back we got a call from Alex Thompsons office. They wanted to know if we would let a room or rooms out in our house to an "A list celeb:", who was going to crew with Alex on the "Round the Island" race. As we know Alex and Co, we said sure.
Couple of days later a car pulls up outside and Ewan McGregor comes to the door. He does not drink "yeah, I'm a reformed functioning alcoholic", but he does smoke. I smoked at the time, so for 2 evenings we'd sit around the pond shooting the breeze and smoking with him. He'd be on tea and P and me would be on something a little stronger. When Alex came to pick him up at the end of the stay, Ewan heard him coming through the garden gate and yelled out "Fuck off, I'm staying here"
Such a lovely guy, I have no photos because I did not want to invade his privacy by asking.
@Sarina always asks for the "Ewan McGregor room" when she comes to stay now.

Great story @Giles I remember watching a documentry on Ewan McGreger and his mate riding motor bike's around somewhere and he came across as a pretty level and down to earth bloke then.
