Hey, everyone. Quick intro…
I'm a denim fan in Portland Oregon. Been wearing 501s since I was a kid and watching the quality go down and down. I became interested in selvedge denim a few years ago and more generally in higher quality and more durable clothing. Of course that led me to the various Japanese makers and Iron Heart specifically. I'm currently working in a pair of 634S 21oz that I bought on Jan 1 (easy to remember what amount of wear they have on them!) and they're fantastic. I've also added a few IH shirts and plan to add a few more.
I've lurked here for some time but didn't get around to registering an account until I had a shirt that needed trading, so here I am! I'm endlessly impressed by Iron Heart's prouduct quality, customer service quality and the quality of the customers who constitute this (and the broader Iron Heart fan) community.
Thanks for letting me in

Hello everyone, I have always been a Levi's wearer, until September, when I went to Valencia St. in San Francisco, found Self Edge, Bought a pair of 633 jeans. Before I left SF, I had a pair of the 23 oz 634's a 526 J Jacket. Then started searching Iron Heart, and found this great site. And now the rest is history. Since October I only wear Iron Heart jeans and jackets. It's great, in 30 degree F weather, I don't need heavier jackets than the 526 J. My favorite jeans are the 1955 S, 1955 UHR, and finally the 25 oz IHXB01. Thanks to Paula, Giles and Matt for any help they have provided. Sam. I live outside Charlotte, NC.

Out of curiosity, when you say you live outside Charlotte, which town are you in?
I ask, since I grew up in Charlotte and most of my family still lives there. My brother moved to Raleigh, which proves his poor judgment…

I live in Pineville, NC.
-
Many years ago, so did I.
Across from the James K. Polk birthplace, in an apartment complex whose name escapes me.

I know exactly where you mean. I drove by it today. I live on what used to be the Pineville Golf Course. I have been there about 3 year.
