IHVB-05 - The Wild Ones - Iron Heart/Viberg Engineer Boot Collaboration
-
I can believe it. I tried on the Lofgren's and the Road Champs today. I prefer mine, but the RC's are a damn close second.

Oh brother, not this tired trope again…

Dear Giles, dear fellow forum members,
I consider buying a pair of these fabulous boots. My only previous experience is of the No. 83 model ( I mean the very model depicted here) …
http://blog.burgundschild.com/post/37798707553... which did fit perfectly in US9/EUR42, although it looked (but did not feel) somewhat wide ...
Are the Wild Ones built on the same last? Their box, as depicted here, states "83", but I read that this is the 2005 last. How do they fit in comparison? Should I consider the same size adequate?

^i have never tried any Viberg engineers but I have 240, 1035, 2030, and 2045 last all in 10.5

I am super envious Theo, I love that boot!
-
The toe shape is one of the best around.
-
Always bummed I missed these. Still my favorite engineers. I hesitated on the brown and it was gone. The black would have been my preference, but they must have sold out ages ago, as I never saw them in stock. If anyone wishes to part with a size 11E, preferably black, please PM me.

A steal at that price
+1
What a steal … too bad, I have already a similar pair of Viberg Engineers in black. -
Damn. The 10 is one size to small. These are a steal. Thinking of cutting off my big toe.
Do it, give it to me and we'll both be set.

Even though these aren't available anymore, figured I'd pop in and give a quick update.
Size 10 is perfect once they're on, but they're a bitch to get on and off still. I've probably only worn them 10 days or so, but I definitely still have to sit down and muscle them on and off. Hopefully they loosen up a little bit more!
