@jdl1279 you should try and get your hands on some Kuhnhenn beers. Those guys are consistently putting out some of the best beer in our state IMO. Their distribution is severely lacking (they are working on getting a bottling or canning line going I believe) but if you can find their stuff on draft anywhere I highly recommend it. Their DRIPA (double rice IPA) is their most commonly available beer and is fantastic…

Combines a stellar fruity smell and beginning, with the dry finish of a brilliant saison. I had this beer two years ago and didn't like it. Go figure.

I've tried the #100 last summer, but need to re-visit asap… I love Nogne O beers...
Edit: if anything, I think the Scandi and Danish beers really have their own identity... And I'm a huge fan...
Sorry man, missed this post. I get shit from my family for being a Brit but making grand claims about the quality of the Danish/Norwegian beers. The truth is they're just better at it at the mo. A lot of the British stuff is trading on past glories or just mass produced uninspiring shite, with the exception of Brew Dog. Nøgne are great, I agree. If you ever get the chance try something from Kinn brewery. Their Imperial Stout and Vestkyst IPA are do good. Also they come in 750ml bottles. Which is nice

Thanks a ton!!! I'll defo keep an eye out!..
Btw: see one of my previous posts… The sherry barrel aged Liquid Confidence is completely and utterly BRILLIANT... If you haven't had that before, or the regular version, or the cognac version, by all means try and get your hands on it
(Oh: and I see there's a wine version out as well... Anyone in Denmark who can get me a bottle?..)

750 ml of St. Bernardus Abt 12 goes down surprisingly fast.

All these awesome example of beverages. I haven't had anything that good lately…sadly. Most are blah.....can't all be winners to my tongue ha.

Unfairly delicious.

@Seul , I had the Jaipur X tonight and sad to say that it is awful. I love most Thornbridge brews but the 10% Jaipur does nothing to disguise the alcohol taste, it tastes like special brew, dreadful drink, please avoid.
