IH-777S-21 - Super-Slim Tapered 21oz Indigo Selvedge Jean - VERSION 1
-
I think the loomstates have the best silhouette. I think the reason is the top block is not so tight. The 555 would be second. Again because of the top block. If I were you I would just focus on making sure the waist, rise and thigh fit is on and then let the design of the jean do the rest (even if the hem is a little wide from shortening).

@Omega:
How about SE's IH633s? They are straight tapered. Sounds like the ideal specs you may be interested in.
Yeah, I think that and the SEXIH22-301S would be my next pair to try. Thanks!
You are probably built like me. I'm a 38 in the sexih22. At first I was a little me about a slightly looser fit, but they are my favorite jeans now. The fit is great since I have been wearing them for over a month now. Great taper ratio, comfortable thighs and knees. Just wish the waist was slightly smaller… By an inch and a slight more rise. The actual denim is gorgeous too!
Looks like you got plenty of IH to wear though. No idea how you guys can have like 5 pairs of almost the same denim. I got myself one indigo/grey, one black/black and one indigo/black.
I am waiting for 3 pairs though... But how could I say no to 50 per pair fully tailored to my measurements! -
@riffblaster:
the 555 looks best to me out of those.
While I partially agree, it has a TON of fabric in the butt and makes hilarious noise when I walk. They also tend to fall off my waist constantly, unless my belt is uncomfortably tight.
I don't think you have a weird body type at all, the 777 looks best on you and I wouldn't recommend to taper it. The 555 has a too high rise and too slim legs in relation. I've also experienced much noise while wearing these and hated the diaper butt.
-
i also think the 666 looks good and if you got the 21oz it would probably stretch in the waist more than the 18oz.
ok enough derailment! let's see some more fit pics of the 777!

@Ragehaver I feel for you dude, but appreciate all the fit flicks.
thanks

No 634?
-
I get the feeling he is looking for a smaller hem than what the 634 offers. I like the way the 777 fits on you Ragehaver. I don't think that the hem is too big at all.

Sorry for the huge detail, everyone.

Thanks, agreed. I think I'm just going to get it hemmed instead of tapered after looking at those pictures. While looking down at your own legs, they tend to look bigger. I prefer a slightly smaller hem but getting it tapered something like 0.5"s seems silly.
No 634?
I don't have pictures of some of the other cuts I listed (634, MBB, 666-XHS) because I've sold them and don't have them anymore.

Looking good…enjoy your evo !

Great fits folks @Yury could I ask what length you had them hemmed to and the leg opening measurement. Just wondering if much width/taper is lost with hemming on the 32"., this looks like my ideal cut and a lower rear rise may be perfect for a "no-arse" like me
-
Great fit for you!
Can't wait to see these in black to grey in the future

Thank you guys!
Bingo Baller, the jeans' length is 36'' and hem's width is 18.5 cm
If you cut jeans to 32'' then hem's width will be 19 cm -
@Yury Many thanks.

I know I've asked about this topic before.. When is 777-SII due, any estimate?
